"Forgotten Lord of the Oasis: 75-Million-Year-Old Titanosaur Fossils Fill Dino History Gaps"

A new species of titanosaur, named Igai semkhu, has been discovered in the Kharga Oasis in Egypt. This 75-million-year-old dinosaur fills a significant gap in our understanding of African dinosaurs. Despite its small size compared to other titanosaurs, measuring only 10-15 meters in length, this fossil is the most complete known in the region and sheds light on the late Cretaceous era in Africa. The discovery also suggests a close relationship between North Africa and Eurasia in terms of dinosaur fauna during this time.
