Impending Solar Storm Threatens Earth, Warns NOAA.

NOAA has warned that a solar storm may hit the Earth on June 2, triggered by solar winds released from the activity on sunspot AR3315. Although it is not expected to be a major storm, it can still disrupt wireless communications and cause a radio blackout. The NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory is monitoring the situation with its instruments, including the Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager, Extreme Ultraviolet Variability Experiment, and Atmospheric Imaging Assembly.
