Incredible Footage of ISS Crossing the Sun During Spacewalk Captured by Photographer.

Astrophotographer Thierry Legault captured the International Space Station (ISS) crossing the Sun while NASA astronauts Steve Bowen and Woody Hoburg were conducting a spacewalk to install solar panels. The ISS transit lasted just 0.75 seconds, and each frame was shot at 1/32000 of a second. Legault estimated the position of the sunspot groups and placed himself on the corresponding transit line to capture the moment. The new solar arrays installed by the astronauts will produce more than 20 kilowatts of electricity.
