"New Earth-Size Exoplanet with Earth-Like Temperatures Discovered"
TL;DR
Astronomers have discovered Gliese 12 b, a Venus-sized exoplanet 40 lightyears away with temperatures similar to Earth, making it a promising candidate for habitability. Researchers are now investigating whether it has an atmosphere and liquid water, crucial for supporting life. The discovery was made using TESS, and further studies are anticipated with the James Webb telescope.
