Electron Shape Unveiled: A New Window into Quantum Geometry

Scientists have, for the first time, measured the shape of an electron as it moves through a solid using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) in kagome metals, revealing quantum geometric properties that could influence superconductivity and guide the design of future quantum materials.
