Impending Asteroid Collision: NASA Issues Alert for Earth

NASA has warned that a 290-foot wide asteroid, 2023 HP1, is heading towards Earth and will come as close as 6.13 million kilometers on May 7. The asteroid is moving towards Earth at a velocity of 41868 kilometers per hour and is almost the size of a building. Although it is likely to pass by, if it collides with Earth, it could cause significant damage.
