SpaceX and Intuitive Machines are set to launch a privately developed lunar lander, the Nova-C, as part of NASA's program to return humans to the Moon. The lander uses cryogenic propellants and will be fueled just before liftoff, presenting a significant technical challenge. If successful, the Nova-C will reach the Moon in six days and attempt a landing near the south pole.
