"US Space Force Explores Cape Canaveral Launch Sites for SpaceX Starship"

The U.S. Space Force is initiating environmental studies to potentially enable SpaceX Starship launches from Cape Canaveral's Space Launch Complex 37, currently used by the Delta 4, or a new complex. The study will assess the environmental impacts of converting the existing infrastructure to support Starship-Super Heavy launch and landing operations. The process is expected to take over a year and a half to complete, with public meetings scheduled for March to discuss the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement. SpaceX is also building a Starship launch pad at Kennedy Space Center and its Starbase site in South Texas.
