Chandrayaan-3 Successfully Enters Near-Circular Orbit Around Moon

India's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft has achieved a near-circular orbit around the moon after undergoing another manoeuvre, bringing it closer to the lunar surface. The next operation is planned for August 16, with the aim of reaching a 100 km orbit. The lander is expected to make a soft landing on the moon's south polar region on August 23. The mission aims to demonstrate safe landing and roving on the lunar surface, conduct in-situ scientific experiments, and develop technologies for inter-planetary missions.
