"NASA's Astrobotic and ULA Collaborate for Historic Robotic Artemis Moon Launch"

NASA is inviting media to cover the first commercial robotic flight to the Moon's surface as part of the CLPS initiative and Artemis program. Astrobotic's Peregrine lander will be launched on ULA's Vulcan rocket in December 2023, carrying NASA and commercial payloads. The mission aims to develop capabilities for lunar exploration and gather scientific data ahead of crewed Artemis missions. Media accreditation is open until December 8 for U.S. citizens and November 9 for international media.
