Sierra Space Successfully Launches First Dream Chaser

Sierra Space has completed assembly of its first Dream Chaser vehicle, named Tenacity, and plans to send it to NASA's Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility in Ohio for environmental testing. The spacecraft is expected to launch to the International Space Station (ISS) as early as spring 2024, carrying supplies and experiments. Dream Chaser will undergo testing in a thermal vacuum chamber before being shipped to Cape Canaveral. Sierra Space has a minimum of seven missions to the ISS under a Commercial Resupply Services 2 contract and is also developing a crewed version of Dream Chaser.
