"SpaceX Launches Euclid Mission to Investigate Dark Energy and Dark Matter"

The European Space Agency's Euclid spacecraft is set to launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on July 1. Euclid's mission is to help astronomers understand the mysteries of dark energy and dark matter, which make up 95% of the universe. The spacecraft will generate the largest and most accurate 3-D map of the universe to date. Originally planned to launch on a Soyuz rocket from French Guiana, the mission had to find a new ride after Russia ended Soyuz operations. ESA selected SpaceX to launch Euclid on a Falcon 9, and the launch is now ready to proceed.
