TL;DR

United Launch Alliance (ULA) has achieved a major milestone by integrating the payload fairing onto its Vulcan rocket, marking the first time the full stack has been assembled. The rocket is scheduled to launch on January 8, 2024, carrying Astrobotic's Peregrine lunar lander as part of NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program. The mission will also include a memorial payload called "Enterprise" containing the cremated remains and DNA samples of notable figures. The Peregrine lander is set to touch down on the Moon's surface on February 23, 2024.
