Delays Push Boeing's Starliner and NASA's X-59 Flights to 2024

Boeing's first crewed test flight of the Starliner spacecraft has been delayed to mid-April 2024, with the first operational flight pushed to early 2025, according to NASA officials. The Crew Flight Test (CFT) mission, which will send NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to the International Space Station, has faced multiple delays due to technical issues. Meanwhile, SpaceX's Crew-8 mission is targeted for mid-February 2024, with Crew-9 launching in August 2024. Boeing and NASA are reviewing results from CFT before the first operational crewed flight, Starliner-1, can proceed.
