NASA Partners with SpaceX and Blue Origin for Lunar Missions

NASA is collaborating with SpaceX to develop the Starship Human Landing System for the Artemis III mission, marking the first crewed lunar landing in over 50 years. The mission will involve docking the Starship with NASA's Orion spacecraft in lunar orbit, transferring astronauts to the Moon's surface, and conducting scientific activities. An uncrewed demonstration will precede the crewed mission. For Artemis IV, NASA and SpaceX aim to enhance the Starship to carry more mass and dock with the Gateway lunar station, advancing preparations for future Mars exploration.
