Pokémon Go Marks 10 Years With Times Square Mewtwo Raid Reunion
TL;DR
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Pokémon Go staged a Times Square mega raid where Mewtwo appeared on the surrounding screens and Mega Mewtwo Y was battled by about 1,000 players; the event featured a Master Ball capture and a guaranteed perfect Mewtwo, echoing the original trailer’s promise, with Go Fest 2026 set as a free global celebration featuring Mega Mewtwo X and Y on July 11–12.
