Trump says US could take Iran's enriched uranium without a deal, won’t meet Khamenei
TL;DR
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that the U.S. could obtain Iran's enriched uranium now without a deal and has no reason to pursue one, adding he wouldn’t meet Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei unless a deal were reached; he estimated a forced removal operation would take about two weeks and noted the uranium is buried under heavy surveillance. He also asserted progress toward Lebanon-Israel peace following US-led talks, though Hezbollah rejected the ceasefire plan.
