EU seeks Palantir alternative with Franco-German data backbone

France and Germany pledged to develop a European sovereign digital backbone and study Arcadia as a Palantir Maven alternative, aiming to reduce reliance on U.S. software while boosting data-centric security and AI. The plan includes the creation of interoperable combat standards, MGCS research, closer space reconnaissance cooperation, and potential collaboration on long-range missiles and a KNDS listing.
