Romania to bolster air defences with F-35 fighter planes.

Romania's supreme defense council has announced its intention to purchase the latest generation of US F-35 fighter planes to enhance its air defense capabilities. The country has increased its defense spending to 2.5% of GDP this year in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
