Iran and Saudi Arabia discuss potential talks and visits.
TL;DR
Iran has proposed three locations for a meeting at foreign minister level with Saudi Arabia, according to Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian. The countries agreed to re-establish ties after years of hostility, with the deal brokered by China. Iran is also ready for the mutual reopening of embassies and hopes to normalise ties with Bahrain, a close Saudi ally that followed Riyadh in severing diplomatic ties with Iran in 2016.
