Hamas Chief Haniyeh's Egypt Visit: A Post-Iran Meeting Move

Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh has arrived in Egypt for talks on the ongoing Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip. He is expected to meet with Egyptian officials to discuss a cease-fire, a prisoner exchange deal with Israel, the delivery of humanitarian aid, the end of the siege on Gaza, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip, and the return of displaced persons to their towns and villages in the north. This visit follows Haniyeh's meeting with Iranian officials in Qatar.
