TL;DR

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor criticized the upcoming film 'The Kerala Story' on Twitter, stating that it may be "your" Kerala story, but it is not "our" Kerala story. The film has faced controversy over its trailer, which claims that 32,000 girls from Kerala joined ISIS. Leader of Opposition in Kerala Legislative Assembly VD Satheesan has called for the film to not be granted permission for screening, alleging that it is part of an attempt to create a social divide and cast doubt over minority groups.
