Putin emphasizes patriotism and national pride on Russia Day.
TL;DR
Putin marked Russia's national day by appealing to Russians' patriotic pride at a "difficult time" for the country, but made no direct comment on the latest developments in Ukraine. The day marks the inseparability of Russia's centuries-old history and the greatness and glory of the fatherland. The feelings of patriotism and pride unite society even more strongly and serve as a reliable support for the heroes taking part in the special military operation in Ukraine, according to Putin.
