SEGA’s Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is getting a free content update that adds three new playable characters—Classic Sonic (June 23, 2026), Axel (August 2026), and Amigo (September 2026)—each with an exclusive vehicle, plus nine new in-game songs. The update expands availability across PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
The University of Arizona has developed a concept called the Asteroid Mobile Imager and Geologic Observer (AMIGO), which is a compact spacecraft that can be mass-produced and deployed to asteroids for close-up imaging and analysis. AMIGO is designed to fit into a 1U CubeSat package and carries various scientific instruments, including a camera, microscope, magnetometer, and laser range finder. It can bounce and maneuver on the asteroid's surface using a miniaturized propulsion system, collecting data on the asteroid's composition and internal structure. The spacecraft can be powered by solar panels and has the potential to revolutionize asteroid exploration and mining missions. However, further research and development are needed before AMIGO can be deployed in deep space.
