
Judge tosses Kennedy Center breach suit against Chuck Redd over Trump-name controversy
A DC Superior Court judge dismissed the Kennedy Center’s breach-of-contract suit against jazz musician Chuck Redd after he canceled a Christmas Eve performance; the court found there was no binding contract and held the case an improper anti-SLAPP action tied to Redd’s public objection to adding Donald Trump’s name to the Center, with the dismissal granted “with prejudice.”
