"Unveiling the Mysteries: Scientists Dive into Uranus through Simulation"

Scientists have simulated a mission to explore the atmospheres of Uranus and Neptune, the only two planets that have not been directly explored by spacecraft. Using Oxford University's hypersonic plasma tunnel, the researchers reached simulated velocities of 11.8 miles per second, but fell short of the speeds required for a probe to make significant progress. Developing a probe that can withstand the high pressures and temperatures of these planets' atmospheres is a challenge, but there is growing support for exploring Uranus and Neptune.

Rocket Lab's Venus Mission Delayed to 2025 with Possible Asteroid Flyby.

Rocket Lab's mission to send a small probe to Venus to search for organic molecules in its atmosphere has been delayed, with no new launch date announced. The company plans to use its Electron booster and Photon spacecraft to send the probe into Venus's cloud layer to search for clues that the atmosphere could support life. The mission is also a way for Rocket Lab to showcase its Photon spacecraft designed for beyond Earth orbit missions.
