
Wan to Direct Reimagining of The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil
Paramount Pictures has signed James Wan to direct a remake of the South Korean thriller The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil, with original star Don Lee attached. Brian Helgeland wrote the original draft and will serve as an executive producer, with Shay Hatten writing the screenplay. Wan and Michael Clear will produce for Atomic Monster. Don Lee will produce via Big Punch Global, alongside Sylvester Stallone and D. Matt Geller (Balboa Productions), Chris Lee (B&C Group), and Jang Won-seok (BA Entertainment). The Cannes-2019 film follows a cop and a crime boss who team up to hunt a serial killer.
