
Renowned BASE jumper Andy Lewis dies in Utah incident
Two people were killed in a BASE jumping accident in a Utah canyon, including Andy Lewis, the famed extreme athlete known for BASE jumping and slacklining and who rose to fame after appearing with Madonna at the 2012 Super Bowl. The other victim was a 50-year-old man whose identity wasn’t released. Authorities said it’s unclear if tandem jumping was involved, and they are investigating.
