Tales of Arise is coming to Switch 2 with the Beyond the Dawn Edition, delivering 1080p resolution in both docked and handheld modes, cutscenes at 60fps, and gameplay aiming for 30fps; the title also features a ~54GB install size and will be released as a Game-Key Card physical edition, with local availability details to be announced.
Tales of Arise is headed to Nintendo Switch 2 with a mostly 30fps gameplay cap and 60fps cutscenes, at a 1080p resolution. Frame rate may dip during intense moments, and there’s no full 60fps mode as seen on PS5/Xbox Series X|S. In handheld mode the game runs at 1080p, while docked play may be less impressive. The Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition launches on Switch 2 on May 22, 2026.
Bandai Namco revealed Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition for Switch 2, releasing May 21 in Japan and May 22 worldwide, adding a new story set one year after the main game with over 20 hours of additional content.
