"House Lawmakers Condemn Iran After Israel Strike, Israel Vows Response"
Over 140 House lawmakers, both Republicans and Democrats, have co-sponsored a bipartisan resolution condemning Iran's "brutal" regime following its missile attack on Israel. The resolution accuses Iran of contributing to terrorism and regional instability and affirms U.S. support for Iranian citizens seeking a democratic, secular, and nonnuclear Republic of Iran. The missile attack, launched from Iranian soil, was in retaliation for an alleged Israeli strike on Iranian diplomatic facilities in Damascus. Leaders in the U.S. and abroad have condemned Iran's retaliatory strikes as disproportionate and brazen.
