SCO condemns Iran attacks, urges diplomatic path
At the SCO summit in Bishkek, member states led by India reaffirmed condemnation of military strikes on Iran, stressed respect for international law and Iran’s sovereignty, and called for a political-diplomatic de‑escalation. The Bishkek Declaration also condemned terrorism in all forms, opposed unilateral coercive measures, and supported a WTO-based multilateral system, while India signaled readiness to deepen economic ties with Tehran and pursue a peaceful resolution to regional conflicts, including through diplomatic means and a comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian question.
