A coyote was euthanized in Los Angeles’s Atwater Village on Friday, October 17, 2026, after a 16-month-old child was injured during an encounter. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) confirmed the animal was put down after being found near the 3300 block of Glenhurst Avenue.
