
Nintendo Tops US Physical Game Sales with 63% Share in 2026
Circana data shows Nintendo accounts for 63% of new US physical game sales this year, with PlayStation at about 32% and Xbox just over 4%; July 2026 hit a record low for new physical software at $85 million due to fewer releases. Nintendo still led global physical software at 38.5% (61.5% digital), with digital revenue at 132.7 billion yen and a 90% YoY increase. The breakdown between Switch 2 and Switch isn’t provided.
