Cities and counties, including Sacramento, Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights, Galt, Folsom, Yuba County, and Sutter County, are providing respite centers and extended business hours to help residents stay cool. Public libraries, community centers, and specific locations like the Sam & Bonnie Pannell Community Center and the Outreach Engagement Center will be open during regular or extended hours.
