
iPhone 18 Pro Reimagines Mobile Photography with Variable-Aperture Main Camera
Apple unveils the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max with a redesigned 48MP Fusion Main camera featuring a variable aperture from f/1.48 to f/4, plus 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and Telephoto lenses, enabling sharper detail and better low-light performance; the Camera app gains pro controls and developers will get API access to the new system. Video gains include post-capture Cinematic effects up to 60fps, 4K Dolby Vision HDR, and improved Audio Mix, alongside an on-sensor content authenticity sign. Power comes from a new 2nm A20 Pro chip with dual Neural Engines and a larger vapor chamber for improved thermal performance and sustained power.
