AA Admirals Club Fees Jump as Household Memberships End in Favor of Singles
As of August 23, 2026, American Airlines is overhauling Admirals Club memberships: household plans are being replaced with single memberships, and prices for standard access (which still includes two guests) rise from about $700–$850 to $1,200–$1,400, while Executive Platinum memberships go from $700 to $1,200. The Citi AAdvantage Executive Card continues to grant guest access but will cost $695 (up from $595) as of the same date, effectively steering more travelers toward the card to gain lounge access. American says the changes fund lounge upgrades and reflect a lounge-centric strategy, with no change to access rules beyond the new pricing and structure.
