
Four Juveniles Arrested in Escalating Northeast D.C. Home Invasion Spree
D.C. police arrested four boys, aged 13 and 14, for a month-long series of armed burglaries in Northeast D.C. that escalated from break-ins at empty homes to violent home invasions, including an attempted sexual assault. The suspects, who operated in small groups, targeted cash, vehicles, and electronics, with four stolen cars recovered in Southeast D.C. Interim Chief Jeffery Carroll emphasized the concerning nature of juveniles using firearms and committing sexual offenses, urging community vigilance and parental guidance.
