Google Rolls Out Creator Search Profiles to Consolidate Content
Google is rolling out Search Profiles, customizable pages that aggregate a creator’s articles, videos, and social posts from linked platforms for display in Discover and knowledge panels. Eligibility requires 100,000 followers on at least one platform (YouTube, Instagram, or X; TikTok requires 300,000) and users must be 18+. Profiles are created at profile.google.com/claim, with handles auto-generated from the most-followed linked account and changes needing Google approval. Content from linked accounts typically appears within 24 hours; the Follow button can boost visibility in Discover but does not affect Google Search rankings. The feature launches in the U.S. first with plans to expand.
