NHL and NHLPA Unveil Five-Team 3-on-3 All-Star Weekend Format for 2027
The NHL and NHLPA announced the 2027 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend at UBS Arena (Feb. 5–6) featuring a five-team, 3-on-3 round-robin All-Star Game with 11 players per team, fan-voted rosters plus three NHL/NHLPA selections per team, four 5-minute round-robin games (no OT) advancing two teams to a 10-minute final with a $2 million prize; the All-Star Skills event for players 25 or younger will run across eight events with a four-event cap per player, leading to a Shootout, an Obstacle Course Finale, and a $1 million prize. ESPN/Sportsnet will broadcast the Skills, and ABC/Sportsnet will air the Game; the Islanders will host the event for the second time since 1983.
