Eleven Survive Florida Plane Crash After Five-Hour Life-Raft Ordeal
Eleven people survived a Beechcraft 300 King Air crash off Florida after spending about five hours on a yellow life raft. Rescue crews from the U.S. military located the survivors as they endured 3- to 5-foot swells and, with a helicopter hoist, brought them to safety before flying them to Melbourne Orlando International Airport in stable condition; the FAA will investigate the crash.
