Nearly 30,000 pounds of Argentinian beef recalled after inspection lapse
The USDA FSIS announced a recall of about 29,628 pounds of raw beef imported from Argentina and sold in Florida and Texas after entry into the U.S. without a required reinspection. The products, produced May 15–20, 2026, have use-by dates Sept 15–20, 2026. It’s a Class I recall due to potential health hazards, and consumers who bought the beef should discard or return it. No illnesses have been reported linked to the products.
