Google doubles down on Finland as AI infrastructure hub with €13B investment
Google said it will invest at least €13 billion ($15.1 billion) through 2028 in Finland to expand AI infrastructure, including data centers and energy projects, its largest single investment in Europe. The deal includes a 22-year extension of Google’s power purchase agreement with Fortum, boosting Finland’s status as a key data-center hub and signaling growing AI infrastructure activity in the country.
