Tatneft Caps Fuel Sales Across Russia After Drone Strike Hit Refineries
Tatneft has imposed caps on gasoline and diesel purchases at about 800 stations nationwide following Ukrainian drone strikes on its refineries, with regional limits such as 30 L gasoline/60 L diesel in Chelyabinsk and 20 L gasoline/40 L diesel in southern Moscow; the Taneco refinery in Nizhnekamsk reportedly halted operations after the strike, and Tatneft’s shares fell over 3% as authorities attribute shortages to drone attacks and coordinate an industry-wide response to stabilize energy supplies.
