United Launch Alliance (ULA) has announced a delay in the debut of its Vulcan rocket, pushing it to 2024, due to ground system issues encountered during a fueling test. ULA had planned for a Christmas Eve launch, but the next launch attempt is now expected no earlier than January 8. ULA has had a slow year, with only three launches scheduled, partly due to the transition from its older rockets to Vulcan. Meanwhile, SpaceX has gained market share with its lower-cost and reliable Falcon rockets, launching between 95 and 100 rockets this year.
