GTA V: Free PS4-to-PS5 Upgrade Opens to All Players

Rockstar is offering a free PS4-to-PS5 upgrade for all GTA V owners (physical or digital). Digital copies can download the PS5 version via the game hub, while physical copies require inserting the Blu-ray and installing, after which the PS5 upgrade can be downloaded for free. The upgrade preserves Story Mode and GTA Online progress and adds new features such as Hao’s Special Works vehicles and Career Progress rewards. The move coincides with a major GTA Online update, The Kortz Center Heist, arriving in July.
