Peloton is discontinuing GymKit support for Apple Watch users, transitioning them to Peloton One-Tap tracking starting February 27th. The company had previously marketed GymKit integration as an exclusive perk of its more expensive Bike Plus but has now directed users to use GymKit only if they haven't installed the latest software updates. While the change may upset those who bought the Bike Plus for GymKit integration, the impact on data accuracy may not be significant, as metrics like calorie burn can vary widely. Users will now have to track their workouts and aggregated health data through Peloton's app.
