Antisemitic attack on Israeli tourists in Mongolia shocks northern region
Six Israeli tourists (three men and three women) were assaulted at a campsite in northern Mongolia by men described as Kazakh Muslim origin, with attackers shouting anti-Jewish slogans including “Heil Hitler.” One Israeli was injured with a broken jaw. The group fought back and fled with a local driver; the injured traveler was later airlifted to Israel. Victims say the incident appeared antisemitic, and the Israeli Embassy assisted them as they departed.
