NASA Marks 50th Anniversary of Space Shuttle Enterprise Rollout with ISS Crew Reflections
NASA commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Enterprise rollout on September 17, 1976. Current ISS crew members, including astronaut Jack Hathaway, reflected on the program's legacy during a press conference. Hathaway noted that while he missed flying the shuttle due to age, the program enabled the construction of the ISS, which has been inhabited for over 25 years.
