Sony Pictures announced at CinemaCon that it will produce an animated feature adaptation of the PlayStation hit Bloodborne, with YouTuber Sean McLoughlin—better known as Jacksepticeye—attached as producer. The game follows a hunter navigating a gothic city plagued by a bloodborne disease.
Bloodborne, FromSoftware's acclaimed 2015 action RPG, is being developed into an animated film co-produced by YouTube star Jacksepticeye, with Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions handling development. Plot details and a release date are not yet disclosed, and the announcement came at CinemaCon 2026. FromSoftware has other projects in the works, including Elden Ring, which is also reportedly being adapted into a film.
