Jazz Fest Ends Early as Storms Move Through New Orleans
Thunderstorms forced the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to wrap up early Thursday as weather moved through the area; organizers adjusted the schedule and Congo Square signage indicated programming was finished for the day, though one band was still playing at the time. Attendees were urged to check the festival app or website for updates as rain, potential heavy downpours, lightning and gusty winds are expected into Friday, with cooler temperatures and a chance of heavier rain Friday night into early Saturday.
